Troubleshoot common issues
Start with a few browser-level checks when audio, fullscreen, saved preferences, personal backgrounds, or an embedded widget is not behaving as expected.
How to use it
- If audio does not play, interact with the page once and press Play again because browsers can block autoplay.
- If fullscreen does not open, check whether the browser allows fullscreen for the page.
- If settings disappear, check whether browser storage was cleared or private browsing is being used.
- If a personal background fails, confirm that the file type is supported and reload after removing the file.
- If a Notion widget is cropped, resize the Embed block before changing the widget itself.
Start with the browser
- Interact with the page before retrying blocked audio
- Check fullscreen permission
- Avoid private browsing when you want settings to persist
- Resize a Notion Embed if a widget is cropped
Check whether the issue is local to the embed
If an embedded widget behaves oddly, open its direct widget URL in a normal browser tab. If it works there, adjust the host page or embed size first.
Include useful details when you contact us
Send the page URL, browser name, what you clicked, what happened, and what you expected. A screenshot is helpful when the issue is visual.
Good to know: If the problem remains, use the Contact link in the Focero footer and include the page URL, browser, and what you expected to happen.
