Understand local data and privacy
Focero keeps many everyday focus settings on your device and only uses account-backed cloud features where a feature such as Focus Space sync requires them.
How to use it
- Tasks, focus history, settings, and personal uploaded backgrounds are designed around browser-local storage.
- Focus Spaces can also sync across devices when you choose to sign in.
- Shared Focus Space links contain the shared setup, not your tasks, focus history, streak, email, or account identity.
Good to know: For the full legal description of data handling, use the Privacy page linked from the Focero footer.

- Use your own backgroundAdd your own image, GIF, or supported video as a personal Focero background and keep that media stored on your device.
- Sign in and sync Focus SpacesSigning in is optional. It adds cross-device Focus Space sync while the core Focero timer, audio, background, and task features remain usable without an account.
- Share a Focus SpaceSharing creates a fixed snapshot of a Focus Space that another person can open by link without changing your original saved setup.
